My name is Joshua Vick and I am 13 years old. I love our service members, veterans, and first responders and believe in the responsibility of showing patriotism through support.
I am doing this for the love of those that serve, and to show them and their families that we care and understand their sacrifice for our freedom and protection.
My influences come from a long line of military service in my family on both my mom and dad’s side. Also, my mom and dad love our service members and are so proud of our country, and my mom was a firefighter. I also love reading and hearing stories of veterans and their time in service. I realize there are unexpected challenges that can arise at any time and limited available means for members in the service community can prevent them from getting assistance within a proper period of time and I want to help any way I can.
After college I hope to pursue a career as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force.
